In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the passing of Lt. Col. Gregory “Pappy” Boyington, a private screening of the film was held on Friday, January 11, 2008 for members of the Marine Corps League Pappy Boyington Detachment in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
 
The film has been submitted for consideration to the following film festivals:
  • The Newport Beach Film Festival
  • The Coeur d’Alene Film Festival
  • The GI Film Festival
